A celebration of Sherry, Wine, Tapas, & Friends. Influenced by the culture of sip-a-little-bit-of-this-and-eat-a-little-bit-of-that, Tapavino began in August 2012 as Australia’s first Sherry Bar in Sydney, in a little lane-way not unlike something you would find in the cobblestoned alleyways of Spain. Helped by the beautiful warm vibe that greets you as you step inside and take a seat among floor-to-ceiling wine bottles, Tapavino was named runner-up in Sydney Morning Herald's 'Best New Bar' Awards within 4-months of opening. 12-months later we were named 'Best Bar with Food'.

Pony’s executive chef and team are the masters of the wood fire grill, producing contemporary and modern Australian dishes of the season’s freshest produce since its opening in 2006. In an open kitchen where Exec Chef Neil Nolan enjoys a chat with our guests, the Argentinian grill fuelled by iron bark takes dominance with the menu created around this masterpiece. Tugged away between George St and Kendall Lane we're right there but so hidden at the same time.Recapturing the convivial spirit of Sydney’s formative years, the original sandstone walls of The Doss House bring warmth to our unique basement bar which features a beautiful terrace area and rare original fireplaces.Built in the 1840s, what we call The Doss House today has been the home to a rich, eclectic collection of tenants including a boot maker, boarding house, doctor’s surgery and opium dealer, some which have been entwined within the interiors of the five, cosy bar spaces.

Chat Thai became an instant smash hit in 1989 when it opened its first restaurant with plenty of heat and authentic Thai dishes. We've since added restaurants in Circular Quay, Westfield Sydney, Neutral Bay, Chatswood and Galeries Victoria, and in 2015 we added organic, fresh produce from our farm in Byron Bay.     This was our 2nd dining experience at Jounieh. This restaurant has a great variety of delicious and authentic middle eastern cuisine - our party of 3 shared the dishes we ordered and they were very generously portioned Food highlights - Caramelised Haloumi, Chicken Skewers and Fatoush. The restaurant atmosphere was relaxing and not rushed plus the service was friendly and prompt. Thanks to Tony and all the staff for very lovely evening.

    The steak ( dry too) was amazing and cooked to perfection. We also ordered some starters and sides and every dish was superb. The ambience was just perfect for our special evening out of 3 people. Coii hi don’t recommend more highly. All of felt the same that it was fantastic and we will be back

    We were looking for somewhere to eat close to our hotel in Circular Quay and found Tapavino by chance. We are real fans of tapas and regular visitors to Spain and the Canary Isles and Tapavino did not disappoint. We were seated upstairs as we had pre-booked and even at 6.15 the place was busy. Menu offered a lovely range of familiar and not so familiar dishes. As always, we over ordered (!) but the food was gorgeous. Friendly, attentive but unobtrusive service made for a perfect final evening for us in Sydney.
