It all began with a love story and a dream. Linwood, a chef, and Ellen, a reporter, met 36 years ago in a restaurant of course! They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years. Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation. Our service is warm and attentive. We have developed a reputation for consistency an attention to detail. These qualities are key to our catering business as well. Opened in May of 2008 "Bud's at Silver Run" invites you to enjoy great dining in a casual, friendly atmosphere. Local resident Blinn Salisbury III and partner Ken Lurie are pleased to become part of the community and to revive this great location.     Since moving to Pennsylvania several years ago, we hadn’t been to the Glendon Grill so because we were in the area today we decided to make a reservation. When our plans changed, we were fortunate to be able to move our reservation up by several hours. We arrived and we’re quickly seatedand we’re met with an excellent white staff. Everyone was friendly..mand the menu had many options ! The corn crab soup is the best as is the kale salad! My wife had the Salmon and I had the BBQ braised beef. Both were excellent. Overall an excellent experience and wort the 70 mile drive!

    Basta Pasta's lunch menu is very good with lots of choices. Our only complaint is the calamari was tough and not tasty. We did not eat much of it or take it home. Our entrees were just the opposite and we both ate almost everything on our plate. My friend had eggplant parmesan and I had a surf & turf salad that I thought was awesome.
