Welcome to the Lodge at Salhouse, we are a family run pub occupying a charming 19th century vicarage. The pub has recently been renovated, including comfortable bedrooms set in seven acres of countryside garden.We are fortunate to be surrounded by the picturesque Norfolk Broads, while Salhouse boasts numerous scenic walks for both guests and four-legged friends to enjoy.The neighbouring village of Wroxham provides plentiful amenities including a department store, local shops and cafes, and is popular with holidaymakers wishing to hire boats - we would all agree that one of the best ways to experience the Broads is on the water!Norfolk also boasts 90 miles of award-winning coastline, with lots of variety to explore. From sandy beaches and rugged cliffs to salt marshes, there really is a beach for everyone! Here at the Lodge our closest stretch of beach is only a half-hour drive away.

We're most famous for our themed afternoon teas which change regularly and are served from noon until last service at 3.30pm daily. Jordan looked after us and could not do enough to make sure we had everything we needed. He took the time to talk to us, engage in conversation that was more than the expected ‘service’ and we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea for my Nannies 88th birthday! Food was deliscious making it all the more special!

Beautiful food, ambiance, great staff and lovely coffee. Second time eating here for Sunday roast and I can't fault anything. I love this place and tell everyone about it 🤩 if I could give 10 stars I would. Well done The Stag, you have my vote 100 times x
