Our vineyard was originally part of the George Hunter Estate, established in the 1970s. Today, our Semillon, Shiraz, and Merlot vines are all that remain of this once sprawling 500-acre estate.We're proud to honour the legacy of James Busby, the proud Scot known as the father of Australian wine. Busby brought 500 cuttings from Europe to Australia and planted them in the Hunter region of Belford, not far from Lovedale.At Saltire Estate, we're committed to providing great quality wine at an affordable price. I had the French Farmer’s Breakfast - amazing. My wife loves the Eggs Benedict with the tasty thick cut bacon. Of course the coffee was great as usual.

Everything was absolutely fantastic! The only slight downfall was the garlic bread coming out roughly 10 seconds before the mains did. So it went to waste unfortunately. But still highly recommended!
