August is a restaurant that sits in the old heritage church on Dornoch Terrace, West End. Our dining room is surrounded by objects, art, and the original pitched church ceiling and stained glass windows. Our menu is influenced by regional food from France, Italy and SpainAugust is open for dinner from 5pm on Wednesday - Saturday, and from 12pm for Sunday Lunch.     I have have had to travel from Cairns to have the delicious Sydney Rock Oysters. If you are a fan they are outstanding! Some Soft Shell Crab sliders were out of this world. While all this was going on my wife ( Vegetarian) had the Green Olive Hommuos. I tried it and was knocked over. Service-outstanding Food -outstanding. Well done Cru Bar

The word "curated" perfectly encapsulates the entire experience, from the meticulously crafted dishes to the inviting ambience. Every member of the team contributed to creating an atmosphere that is nothing short of extraordinary. This is more than dining; it’s an invitation to immerse yourself fully in the moment, free of pretense. Five stars hardly feel sufficient to capture the brilliance of this experience.
