The Hop Vine formerly the ‘Royal Hotel’ was built in 1874 and was the main stopping off point for goods being transported to and from the old Turnpike road the A59. The Royal as it was known has served the community and travellers alike. To the rear of the building in our historic Cobbled Garden you will find our own brewery housed in the stables which were used for the horses and stage coaches as they passed through the village. From Ales to YPA’s, to Blonde beers we are a small producer using primary English hops brewing exclusively in house for The Hop Vine and our sister pub the Legh Arms.Our countryside sister the Legh Arms is our latest addition to the family and is situated in the pretty hamlet of Mere Brow. The Legh Arms never disappoints. It is perfect from the beginning to leaving. Front of House staff are superb, menu is extensive and exciting, food is sublime. Quality and presentation are extremely high. Prices are fair. Thank you all at Legh Arms.

Honestly, It was a pleasure! The Service from the staff from the off was faultless. In such a busy atmospheric restaurant, All 5 of us dining couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Drinks and food orders were taken fast and efficiently and all served in the same fashion. It really is the making of succes. Ivy Liverpool.. you’ve nailed it ! Thanks so much

Food was good and came out quickly, Joe was helpful with reccomendations for beer, cask was good just wish there was a little more range but they said that's getting bigger soon. Overall great evening and would 100% reccomend!
