Nook is located just south of the Prima County Public Library on East Congress Street. It opened in 2015 and has become a trendy eatery that serves up New American cuisine. Owners Nikki and Matt Thompson along with Todd Anderson are fellow Tucsonans who love their community. Local artists have work showcased throughout this contemporary restaurant. Nook also prides itself on serving up locally sourced food. Try the Godfather Benedict with prosciutto, arugula, poached egg hollandaise and balsamic drizzle for breakfast, or come down during lunch for a green corn tamale pie with cabbage salad. It offers take-out service and is open for breakfast and lunch during the week. This restaurant also serves brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

Bata is a restaurant designed to celebrate the best our region has to offer. We cook over a live oak fire, on our custom fabricated hearth. Our menu changes daily. We mill AZ grown grain in house, daily. We focus on whole animal butchery, done in house. We have an extensive fermentation program. Our bar program largely focuses on wines that are organic, biodynamic, and produced with minimal intervention. The cocktail list highlights the best products of the season, with a carefully curated list of spirits from across the globe. We believe that our hospitality is just as important as the food and beverages we put on the table. We do not encourage our restaurant for young children. We do not have any highchairs in house and ask that you please bring your own if it is required. We do not offer any outdoor seating.     It took a really long time to get simple sushi from apparently a different kitchen. My friend finished her salad and her grilled chicken before my yellowfin and salmon showed up.

    First time visiting and we will be back! Started our evening on the town with dinner at Hub. We went to a great show at The Century Room and then came back for ice cream. Our food and ice cream were amazing! A little pricier for the ribeye dinners than the side portions offered. If the sides were a little larger portioned it would’ve been totally worth the price. The quality of food and its preparation were on point though! The only other thing I would say needs work is the dining area. The decor and ambiance is great but there are too many tables squeezed into the space available. Eliminating a few tables would make it more comfortable for a more private or romantic experience. It kind of felt like a cafeteria setting with the amount of people in close quarters. But overall I’d give our entire experience a 4.5 out of 5 stars and we will be back!

    The cuisine here is extraordinary, some of the most distinctive and beautifully flavored Mexican food that I have enjoyed. Service is prompt and skilled; the ambiance is tasteful and unpretentious. Convenient to all downtown Tucson attractions. Go! You'll be glad you did.

    A good consistent place for pizza and pasta, salads and drinks! Good wait staff, and the house wine is good enough not to waste $ on the wine list ( although some nice wines) Fair prices make it a good choice in downtown Tucson
