White Dog Cafe's newest location brings local, seasonal, and sustainable dining to Chester County. The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor. The restaurant features seven distinct dining rooms, each with its own unique personality and design. In addition, there is an expansive outdoor patio with a gas fireplace and retractable cover. The open Barn room includes a large oval bar, a sitting area by an open fireplace, and doors leading to the outdoor potting shed. The Story of Josephine’sThe story of Josephine’s begins during our executive chef Daniel LeBoon’s childhood. At eight years old, working for his father’s catering company, Daniel discovered a passion for food. This love — and undeniable talent — saw him intern at Philadelphia’s prestigious Le Bec-Fin. He went on to work in Paris at the venerable Hotel Vernet working under the renowned chef’s Alain Solvere and Alain Ducasse. In 2004, Daniel purchased Josephine’s in Marietta and developed an extremely loyal following based on the combination of great food, great atmosphere and great hospitality. Although Josephine’s closed in 2011, the name and the experiences are fondly remembered by countless people.

Everything about our dinner at the Blevedere was excellent. We had a birthday, which they acknowledged with a note on our table. The Xmas decorations were lovely. Our waitress's service was outstanding. The food served was of the highest quality (steaks and braised beef). We will definitely eat her again. Thank you tot he staff for making our visit so enjoyable.

Friends and I went to the Pajama Brunch on New Years Day at the White Dog Cafe in Chester Springs. This is the first that I have been to this new White Dog. It is wonderful. It has tons of character and many small rooms. They have retained the country charm of the old home. The food is always excellent. My two friends had the specials, which were yummy. The waffles with fruit compote and syrup with a taste of coffee were delicious. I recommend White Dog for a terrific dining experience.

This was our second visit to the Noble Goat, and this time we brought some friends. Once again the Noble Goat team did not disappoint. It started with our wonderful server Courtney. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. As for appetizers and main dish, simply fabulous! Our guests enjoyed their meals as well and definitely plan on coming back. Thank you for another wonderful night out! See you soon!!
