We were a group of 6 friends on a cycling and wineries holiday in the Alpine region of Victoria and the Corowa / Rutherglen wine region. We class our wine tasting and lunch at Lake Moodemere Winery as one of the highlights of our holiday. The winery is in the stewardship of the 6th generation of the same family and the passion for the history, the country and the wines is evident in every aspect. The location is a spectacular bluff overlooking the lake and we ate under the veranda of the heritage homestead. The wine tasting was fun and informative and lunch was exceptional. It is a small menu cooked and presented beautifully. I am happy to recommend this experience to any discerning group.
