Just a mile down the hill from Goodwood Race Course we are 12 minutes drive from Chichester. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner we try to source our ingredients as locally and as seasonally as possible. After much research and debate we decided o celebrate our 24th Anniversary dinner at Masala City. Booking was easy, even when (at short notice) we needed to delay our arrival for by an hour. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived and given a choice as to where we felt most comfortable to be seated. We ordered drinks and whilst deciding on our meal they along with the papadums and sauces were served. We ordered the prawn starter and mixed starter. Both were delicious. I had a tandoori mixed grill (my favourite) and my wife had chicken tikka masala. This was the best Indian meal we have ever shared! The food was served in good time and looked very appetising. It tasted even better and because the portions were so generous we asked for a "to go bag" . The experience was pricey, but worth every penny. We will definitely return.

Wonderful dinner to celebrate my Dad’s birthday. Good very good, service great. Lots of the wines were sold out limiting choice to higher priced options but we still had an excellent and memorable time.

Cosy relaxing surroundings. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food and good value . Steak and lamb were both amazing We will definitely be back !!
