Café 43, located at the George W. Bush Presidential Center, is a contemporary American restaurant which features a locally sourced, organic, seasonal and sustainable menu for weekday lunch and weekend brunch. It is one of the most preferred venues in the city for private events in the evening for groups of up to 150 because of its stunning design, flexibility, private entrance and breezy terrace.     Our first time here and definitely not our last. Such a wonderful dinner experience. Our server, Jordan was wonderful and made great recommendations. We really enjoyed the beet and avocado salad with focaccia bread. The star of our dinner was the clam pasta. We loved it so much we ordered another dish of it while eating. Our sommelier was terrific as well making some great wine suggestions. He even took time to share with us his favorite regions and which regions to expect going forward that will produce great wines in the next few years. We are already planning on what to order when we return with our adult sons.

    Arrived early and was seated by our reservation time. Service was good and fast. No real wait on appetizers or food. Loved the teddy that got to sit with us. Food was amazing. Will be back again for sure!

    The venue is amazing and for anyone who grew up going to Highland Park Pharmacy - this venue has been remaked into a beautiful, sexy space with an attentive staff and wonderful menu. I had the Texas wagyu - amazing - the som picked out a perfect bottle of Italian red. The baked Alaska a throwback to yesteryear - was a spin on a classic. Charred broccoli was amazing like the sister restaurant the Charles. This is a perfect spot for a special date, adult dinner party or If you are a trendy jetsetter who wants to go to a hip place. Love the respect they pay to the highland park pharmacy with a few unique menu items and cocktails. May be one my fav restaurants - not just in Dallas - but anywhere. Ask for Chelsea to be you waitress. She was so awesome. The manager - Nehemiah was fantastic.
