Trani’s Dockside, is a new waterside restaurant launched by one of the port town’s best known restaurant families. The restaurant was able to hold a soft grand opening on May 16, the 98th anniversary of the opening of the original Trani’s Majestic Cafe that opened in 1925 in downtown San Pedro.

For over thirty years locals and visitors have enjoyed dining at 22nd Street Landing Seafood Grill & Bar, an award-winning waterfront restaurant located in San Pedro’s Cabrillo Marina.     I booked this reservation for some friends of mine that were visiting from Denver. Overall they had a great experience. This is one of my favorite places to eat so I was so happy they enjoyed their time.

    One of our favorite restaurants, and tonight we were celebrating my husband's birthday. The service is always really good, but tonight Eric took it to another level. He was knowledgeable about the menu and cooking, fun to talk to, and warm, welcoming, and concerned we were enjoying our meal. The grilled fish was delicious and my husband loved his Mediterranean sea bass special. Just a great evening!

    We hadn’t been to tranis in quite some time so decided to take a visit. My spouse had the Caesar salad…he enjoyed the salad but thought the dressing was a tad mayonaissy. His entree was the spaghetti and meatballs. He said it was just ok…not very unique. I had the butter lettuce wedge salad…I enjoyed it but would have preferred that they cut up the lettuce in edible bites vs having me cut the salad. For my entree I had the skirt steak…with the french fries. The ateak was delicious! I enjoyed it immensely. The fries that came with it were hot and tasty! I’m glad we went to tranis and hope to go back soon!

    Great server and atmosphere. We enjoyed lunch more than we had enjoyed dinner previously, as we could hear one another. Dinner had been too way noisy. Great restaurant!
