Several years ago, I decided that my future in the restaurant business would most likely not remain in the realm of fine dining and gourmands, but would rather lean towards the style of restaurant that I found myself frequenting most often - places that provided consistency and quality at a price that was fair for the quality of the food and experience. Public House plays to the comforts of good, solid food, while applying the principles of premium food products to a more casual setting. You will find all the fish is delivered from Foley’s in Boston, high quality steaks and a rotating selection of vegetable sides that are true to the region and season. Best food I've had in a while! Delicious! We had salmon, filets, sirloins, and almost all the sides! The salad is amazing and I especially loved the Mexican street corn. Will definitely be back! My new fave!!

Lydia was our server and she was absolutely fantastic—very personable, helpful, conversational . . . The food, as always, was so delicious—we personally think this is overall the best restaurant in Knoxville!!!

We enjoyed a great meal. I ordered the bone in NY strip steak and my wife got the lobster tail. The meals were delicious. My steak came out the temperature I wanted. We had great service and the staff were friendly and helpful.
