    We have been coming to The Orchid for several years now, and can hand on heart say it's the best meal we have out every year. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the ambience is perfect, and the food is fantastic. Will no doubt be back in a few months!

    Loved every minute of the experience. Food was excellent, room was grand and service was great. I’ve done many afternoon teas and this is close to the top of my list. A little more filling in the sandwiches and it probably would make top spot.

    One of the best bars we went to during our trip to York. We had pizzas and they were delicious. They have 2-4-1 cocktails that are yummy and lots of beer selections. The atmosphere was great and the staff were amazing, it was very busy when we went but that didn’t seem to phase the staff. We will be visiting again!
