Le Garrick, located in London's theatreland, is an intimate French restaurant. There is a homely restaurant at ground level, while at lower ground level the friendly bar/dining room has intimate nooks and booths for romantic moments. Expect classics and favourites of French bistro cooking; Faux filet Rib Eye or Onglet with sauce poivre or Béarnaise & French fries. For pudding choose from Crème brulée or Lemon tart among the classic desserts. The 2/C prix fixe menu is a lifesaver pre-theatre. In an area that's full of chains, Le Garrick is a one-off. Annual celebrations in the restaurant for Beaujolais Nouveau and Bastille Day. Perfectly located for Covent Garden, Leicester Square and Trafalgar Square.

This was not an enjoyable experience. Despite giving ourselves adequate time and explaining to the waitress on arrival that we had theatre tickets, most of out party had to leave before they had finished their meal in order to get to the theatre on time. Our order had been lost by the kitchen, apparently, and inexperienced and poorly trained waiting staff failed to notice that we had been waiting for our main course for a very long time. We had chased this several times. Whilst the manager was apologetic and reduced the bill, the waitress really did not have a clue. She did not see the need to clear the table and gave no apology. The food itself was fine, but the overall experience was not a good one and I cannot recommend this venue. A previous visit had been great - so, perhaps it was just a bad day?!

This is a classic French bistro serving excellent value French food in the West End. It's always a pleasure to dine here

Been coming here since I was 7 and it continues to astound me just how brilliant this place is. A must visit 10/10

A great little French restaurant near Covent Gardens with great pre-play menu & traditional French menu items. The wine was tasty & a good value. My wife had the Christmas 3 course menu which was delicious & I ordered escargot & bouef bourginon. Both were tasty, should have ordered the onion soup!

this is a lovely what feels like very french restaurant which stays open later than most and has a tremendous atmosphere - everything was good the french onion soup didn't taste amazing in my opinion it was just ok in my opinion the fish course was amazing and the tarte citron was very very good

We had a lovely waiter, lovely food and they brought a special birthday sweet out at the end with some delicious liqueur. The food was good value and very tasty. The atmosphere was the best, it felt like we were transported to Paris for a couple of hours. Thank you!
