Inspired by the birthplace of the original Parisian brasseries along the Left Bank of the Seine River, Left Bank Brasserie is an authentic Parisian-style brasserie by Chef Roland Passot. Left Bank pays homage to the joie
de vivre that is synonymous with the Left Bank neighborhood in Paris. Guests are invited to step into
French culture, in a vibrant, social atmosphere that captures all the charm of traditional brasseries
and iconic alfresco dining of France. An all-day menu features authentic French cuisine utilizing
seasonal, local and organic ingredients, and consists of iconic lighter fare such as oysters, tartare and
prawns provençal, in addition to heartier classics like coq au vin and beef bourguignon. Inspired by the
Parisian-style Bar Américain, an extensive cocktail menu features classics of a bygone era, along with a
wide range of rotating taps, seasonal drafts and bottled beer, and an expertly-curated wine selection.

We chose to sit outside and it was great people watching. The service was amazing and there was always staff outside. The crème brûlée was good. Tuna tartar was season nicely and the bread was perfect.

The food was delicious, especially the escargot! We were just disappointed with the ambiance. We were seated in the back in what seemed like an annex more than part of the restaurant. When we were being led to our table, we were walked through the restaurant, which had a lovely and romantic vibe, but were seated in the back. The small room we were in felt crowded with tables, the lights were too bright, and it was so quiet with no music that we and other tables had to talk at almost a whisper to avoid being too loud with the others. It was disappointing, as the food was really wonderful, but the atmosphere was lacking.

I took my girlfriend here for Valentine’s Day. The food was okay, nothing very exciting. The reason for the lower review was the ambiance. We had a reservation and we were placed at a tiny table right between two other tiny tables with couples also on a date. The table cloth on our table and our neighbors had a few stains. It felt like they were a part of our table they were so close. It took a really long time before we were served or offered water. I was provided the in correct meal. I ordered a steak frites and was served a filet mignon. I mentioned the mistake which the restaurant was quick to fix but I feel like at a nicer establishment like this, at least the manager should have stopped by and said something. The restaurant seemed understaffed since our server was running around like crazy. I feel like the price was not worth the value, and the close tables with dirty table clothes ruined the ambiance.

The entire team was very welcoming and attentive first of all. The ambience was classy of your inside and nice outside. Food was delicious and liked the different options. Overall it was a great experience.

door kept slamming next to me for their waitstaff to go in and out and the wall vibrated, hurt my head really bad once when i was leaning on it, and we had to keep flagging people for water refills.

Took my wife for Valentines Day. They had a special, prix-fixe menu, and a small regular menu - but the prix-fixe items were also available a-la-carte - worked great for us to mix-and-match. Left Bank is back! A few years ago quality suffered for a while, but now it's back to top notch! Oysters were excellent, the French onion soup delicious, and I could have cut my tenderloin with a butter knife. Service was impeccable.

Wild mushroom ravioli and escargot pleasantly presented. Nice choice of nonalcoholic beverages. Need a side order of bread with the escargot. Dessert of chocolate cake with fruit filling and dab of blueberry pudding is fine. Seating by the grill is noisy but okay. Bordeaux was a little flat, like it had been opened 2 or 3 days ago. Wines listed by varietal but not including vintner. Otherwise a pleasant experience. We come back on special occasions.

Generally, on Valentine's Day, expectations are low given the volume of customers and the need to turn over the tables twice or thrice, but Left Bank did very well. A prix fixe dinner, at a reasonable price had several options for each of three courses. My wife and I were pleased with the appetizers (asparagus soup, beet salad) and the entrees (beef filet for me, sole for her). The chocolate cake was perfect me, and they accommodated my wife with a substitute creme brûlée, that was outstanding. Wines by the glass were very good, but expensive and the pour was stingy. Negatives included my filet being served well done and not medium rare (they fixed it promptly, but forgot the Bordelaise sauce (had to wait a few more minutes)). They charge for bread and butter. They add a "living wage" surcharge. Why don't they just pay their employees a living wage and adjust the price of the entrees? Overall, they did well and I expect to revisit.
