                                                                                                  This restaurant is a big scam. The waiters (Carlos and Chris) are rude and try to up sell you on everything. They sold us a fish that was a whopping $266 on the final bill (mind you we already were paying north of $800). No one mentioned how expensive it will be and that it will take 45-60 minutes to grill. We had the Rockette show at 7:30pm and we had told this information repeatedly to the waiter at least 3 times. We were 20 min late for the show! We had called twice before the dinner time to inform them that we are celebrating my Mom's 70th birthday and would like a dessert with candle. And also requested for a table close to the center where there is a beautiful fountain. We walked in and the hostess tried to seat us in a very dark spot close to the windows and only when I protested she moved us closer to the fountain. Not letting this ruin our experience, we sat down and ordered almost everything on the menu (we were a group of 6 and wanted to try most of the dishes) except the fish. And then Carlos came in and started up selling us the fish. We asked about the grouper and not once he mentioned that this fish is a 5-6 pound monster and since you have ordered so much food already, I don't recommend this one and by the way, it is about $50 a pound which will set you back $266 for just the fish. And not once did he say that it will take 1 hour to cook it. In spite of us telling them that we have to be at the show at 7:30pm! What a scam and believe me I tried talking to the manager afterwards and he was equally unapologetic. They ended up bringing us 3 desserts (that we didn't order) to celebrate my Mom's birthday and charging for all of them! This is a big fraud and since they have the prime location they are continuing this scam as they know hapless tourists will pay! Please don't patronize this restaurant as there are many great Greek restaurants in the city and also plenty of other fine dining options in Rockefeller center. Please save yourself from the torture

                                                                                                  Food was just okay, which is not what you expect when paying $150 per person. The table situation is rough a night for two as most of the small tables are right by the door. Every time someone opened the door you’d get blasted with a winter breeze. I don’t think we’ll be eating there again.

                                                                                                  The food and service was phenomenal even though the restaurant was crowded on a Thursday night, particularly given its perfect Rockefeller location. The grilled octopus was particularly delicious, best I've had.

                                                                                                  I come to Limani every year with a large party and have always had a wonderful experience. This year, our waiter seemed annoyed at the outset. After he took our order, we never saw him again. We had to rely on the kindness of other passing waiters to get things like water, forks, or tea. They forgot one of our entrees. They forgot dessert. We ate ice cream with forks. I spent almost $700 that night and was sorely disappointed at how we were treated. Though the food was excellent as usual, the poor service tarnished the whole experience.

                                                                                                  Long waiting Several of the doubles tables next to the door with freezing temperatures coming through the door. A very noisy environment. We waited about half an hour although we had reservations staff was not exactly welcoming considering that they’re working in this quite busy environment. Last time we were here, it was an ok experience however, I think the fact that we were just a couple this time made our reservation and extremely poor value. Very hard to talk to each other, seated next to a noisy kitchen communicating with the floor. unfortunately a lot of negative points overall negating the tasteful food experience. I would not recommend it probably try something else . For the price of the product It is not worth the money so poor value overall.
