We opened our first restaurant in Castlefield, Manchester in 2004 with a clear aim: To deliver quality food to local customers at a reasonable price in a sharp, modern space with friendly, unpretentious service. We have pursued that goal ever since and it has earned us many loyal customers. Our menu is probably classed as British with some additional favourites from Italy and around the globe. Albert's Worsley provides a slick, modern space with dining for 180 guests inside and features a fabulous outside dining terrace for 60.

The restaurant is open Tuesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner, Saturday and Sunday are also open for breakfast.

Rock oysters, vine tomato and chilli salsa, roasted quail with puy lentils, fig and anchovies, Dover sole with warm potato and grain mustard salad and delicious Pear and apple crumble with ginger and vanilla ice cream to finish!

A sister restaurant to Soho House & Co’s Electric Diner Portobello, expect everything from burgers and bagels to salads and cheesecake, with plenty of shakes and cocktails.

Electric Bar & Diner serves breakfast, brunch and all-day classics. Eat-in at the counter or in one of the plush red leather booths or grab a coffee and a slice of pie to go from the dessert counter.

We are not a ‘fancy pants’ establishment. Not in the least. We offer good quality, home-cooked, locally sourced (where possible) food. 90% of our menu is made on the premises. Certainly not ‘Pub Grub’ but not ‘Gastro Pub’ either. It’s good value for money. However, our standards are high, very high. Not only in the quality of the food that comes into and leaves the kitchen but also in the presentation, the delivery to the table and overall customer service. We’re definitely not ‘Silver Service’ either but all of our staff are attentive, smartly dressed and will always go that extra mile wherever they can. These are just some of the reasons we were awarded the Taste of the West GOLD award in 2019.
We are a dog friendly establishment, very dog friendly. However, please tell us at the time of booking so that we can place you in our Bar area , as opposed to our Restaurant.

Location scenografica, dentro l'ex salone di una banca. Oltre che un ristorante è un "locale" dove si ritrovano gruppi di amici per "fare serata". E' quindi uno dei pochi ristoranti dove si può andare anche fino ad un po' più tardi, anche fra settimana (intendo dire anche dopo le 21:00, quando diversi ristoranti non prendono già più nessuno a cena). C'è del "giro", c'è energia, ma il locale è anche rumoroso ed il servizio, pur gentile, non è sempre attento ed i tempi potrebbero allungarsi. Bello comunque per passare una serata fra amici.

Questo posto è un jazz club, noi volevamo solo cenare e quindi la musica alta ci infastida un po’ ma abbiamo trovato un posto molto carino e particolare dove lo staff rende la serata ancora più gradevole ( più della musica). Io sono Cceliaca e ho trovato molta attenzione e cura per il mio disagio che conoscevano bene.

The Hop Vine formerly the ‘Royal Hotel’ was built in 1874 and was the main stopping off point for goods being transported to and from the old Turnpike road the A59. The Royal as it was known has served the community and travellers alike. To the rear of the building in our historic Cobbled Garden you will find our own brewery housed in the stables which were used for the horses and stage coaches as they passed through the village. The Orangery is now closed for refurbishment and we have relocated to the Pavilion just in front of the Orangery, surrounded by beautiful formal gardens in the grounds of Kensington Palace The Pavilion, a relaxed and elegant setting for breakfast or lunch and the only royal palace in London where you can enjoy a traditional afternoon tea. We have a birds eye view of the Sunken Garden and the wiggly walk, which you can enjoy from our covered terrace.

Kensington Palace is now closed for visits to prepare for the new exhibition and will reopen from 13th of December. The Pavilion Restaurant will be open as usual between Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00-16:00.
