We also offer an optional wine pairing and are able to accommodate many dietary restrictions with advance notice.

Avelo hosts two dinner seatings per evening where guests choose between the 5-course or the 8-course* tasting menu. The seating times are 5-6:15pm and 7:45-8:30pm.

We didn’t want it to scream ‘Italian restaurant’ because frankly it’s only Italian-ish, using the philosophies of Italian cooking with locally available ingredients and a strong devotion to seasonality. Our pastas all made in house, by long-time chef, Annalisa Latavo and our front of house team is simply a dream! The sort of secret treehouse-feeling back patio is hugely popular in the summer, but we think of it as the perfect restaurant for a colder evening, cozy for tucking into a beautiful plate of pasta, with one of your favourite songs playing while you have a very nice Italian red.

In terms of vibe, the main floor is ‘everything’s gone green’, with lush comfortable banquette seating, warm wood, and barstools designed for long conversations over many cocktails. There are few ingredients that are as versatile, nutritious, and just as damn tasty as sesame butter. That’s why we decided to make it in all its forms: try it in our dressings, salads, dips, bowls, and our famous homemade halva, and seed what is possible.
The three of us share a passion for simple meals with fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and innovative techniques. That, along with our love for good coffee, art, music, and community, is what shapes the Parallel experience.”
