   Sempre benissimo alla Locanda Ravello! È il mio ristorante preferito a Danville. Il cibo, le bevande e l'atmosfera sono buoni e divertenti!

   We had a lovely family luncheon at Loconda Ravello in Danville today. Even though it is an intimate restaurant, they accommodated our table of six plus a high chair nicely. The restaurant is charming, and the service was friendly and professional. We never felt rushed. The menu is extensive. Our entrees were delicious. Eating here was an enjoyable way to gather with family. We will definitely be back.

   All the Locanda locations are great and this was no exception. Excellent meal, especially loved the artichoke fritter appetizer and the penne al la Vodka, but everything was perfectly prepared and nicely presented. Pricing very reasonable. Service was friendly and attentive. It was a bit noisy and crowded to start, but much calmer as the evening went on.

   The place has great food and excellent service. The lobster ravioli, fruti di maro and roasted Brussels sprouts were superb.

   Friendly staff, including our server. However, the ambience and service felt a little chaotic. Our bread plates were wet from the dishwasher/sanitizer. I was almost served a wet wine glass, too. We were brought bread with delicious olive spread, but we just stared at it for several minutes until we flagged down a server for place settings. On the bright side, they were kind enough to split our salad onto two plates and keep our wine glasses full. The food was good, but not as spectacular as I was expecting based on how many people recommended this place. That said, we have yet to try the pizza, so we won’t write it off yet. We’ll just try to sit outside on a nice day next time because inside is extremely loud.

   Food and service are always fantastic. Definitely Italy a place to keep in the restaurant rotation. Lasagna and strozzapretti are outstanding. Get the doughnuts for dessert.

   Excellent ambiance, cozy and somewhat intimate. Lots of energy and lively conversation! Give it a try….you’ll remember this restaurant for quite a while!!

    Service, food and ambience were great. We were sitting outside under heated lamps. Rather pricy but great value.
