Cielos at Lodge on the Desert offers one of the best dining options in Southern Arizona. Dine on contemporary seasonal cuisine that pays tribute to Southwest ingredients. Complemented by classic craft cocktails featuring local spirits and a delectable wine list, Cielos is the perfect place for a romantic night out or a casual happy hour with friends.
The intimate space is framed with floor-to-ceiling windows and overlooks a spacious secluded Saltillo-tiled outdoor private patio featuring bistro string lighting, a four-sided, tiled fireplace for optimal year-round al fresco dining. Cielos and its Bar both reflect a genuine, richly authentic Southern Arizona historic charm and ambience including rough-hewn artist-design hand-painted wood beams, Mexican tin chandeliers, floating potted plants and shade sails.

                                    The flavors in the meatloaf were amazing. The short ribs were amazing. Definite win. Ambiance was relaxed and southwestern.

                                    Excellent service and delicious food. The outdoor patio area with the fireplaces is lovely and it's easy to hear your dining companions. Highly recommend. Our server was particularly kind and attentive.

                                    We truly enjoyed the delicious food, and the ambiance of the restaurant. The servers were so accommodating. That signature Margarita was great, too! Great place, we will be back!

                                    The trout was very good and my husband's meat loaf was outstanding (believe me, I never thought I would say that about meat loaf). Service very professional yet lighthearted; appreciated being offered a table indoors despite our outdoor reservation, as it was a little cool. Would go back.

                                    We were excited to try this restaurant and could only get reservations (a month in advance by the way) the day after Valentine’s Day. We arrive to the restaurant and were told by the hostesses there was no inside seating available for 30 minutes, so we opted for outside seating and were promised a heater. No big deal. We were not greeted by the server for 20 minutes and once he came over to us he asked “Have you guys been helped yet?” Ummm noooo? So he says “okay what can I do for you” strange way to greet guests… so we tell him our drinks and dinner right away so that way we didn’t have to wait again for our dinner order. I also add in that we would like to request a heater please if they could find an extra. 10 minutes later he comes back and tells me they’re out of pasta…. Okay than, so I order the Tamale. At least 40 minutes goes by and we get our food. The food was delicious but we were very disappointed with the quality of service especially for a Valentine’s Date night out.
