Ring in the New Year with sophistication at our New Year’s Eve celebration on December 31st at LON's at The Hermosa Inn. Choose from two elegant seatings: the first from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM or the second from 7:30 PM onward. Delight in a luxurious four-course dinner complete with an amuse-bouche, and enjoy live music from 7 PM to 12:30 AM. Lead Sommelier Brian Downey will also be offering one-of-a-kind wine pairings to enhance your experience. Beverage not included. Pricing is $195++ per person for the first seating and $225++ per person for the second seating. Wine pairings are an additional $100++ per person.

I have been here in the past in the evening and it was such a wonderful experience that I thought I would try their brunch. Such an elegant atmosphere on the patio with top notch service from the staff. We had a phenomenal waitress named Sasha who made our experience amazing. She took lovely pictures of my daughter and I. The food was delicious and incredibly tasty. I highly recommend this stunning experience. Also, gratitude to the chef who provided a complimentary appetizer.

We went for brunch to celebrate my birthday. The food was amazing. I had 3 different drinks and they were all unique and delicious! Our server Sasha was so much fun knowledgable and attentive.

Our anticipated anniversary celebration at Lon's was not nearly up to our expectations. Valet service was pleasant a young man opened my door. Unlike when we left we were hustled no open door of politeness. Checking in to our reservation 4 young people chatting behind the counter, chewing gum person checked us in and "Dawn" showed us to our table next to the fountain. (fountain had food droppings in it). Server Eric greeted us, adjusted heaters, asked if we would like something besides water. Yes. Asked about the cocktail Dancing Aromatics, said he didn't know anything about it, I mentioned Lavendar Haze, he said oh yeah it has gin in it, oops, vodka, said it was a favorite. I ordered one. Double huge ice cube, lrg stalk of rosemary, small glass, $17. Just ok. Another server brought out 3 slices of bread, 2 mini corn muffins, 1 Tblsp of butter on a large board. meh. Ordered appetizer, baked Camembert Cheese, lovash 4 small cracked up pieces also used our bread, warm nice few toppings small serving. $27. Don't bother. Main entrees: Berkshire Pork Schnitzel, med sized butterflied pork chop, basic fair. Creamed spinach, not great, a mix mash of greens and mushrooms. Bleeeek. $63. Chilean Sea Bass, very good texture, done well, not much flavor, needed more Beurre Blanc. Loving mashed potatoes I chose those over green beans. Described as Gruyere Whipped Potatoes. Lumpy, dry, no flavor, cold. Asked for hot ones the plate came exactly as they were before, I added my butter but still not edible. Turnips not roasted but mushy. $69. Glass of wine, Pinot crisp and cold, good. We saw server occasionally and had to find him for check, not efficient, sometimes rude and not a people person towards us. Overall a bad meal. Nearly $250. Dessert complimentary for our anniversary was a chocolate cupcake still in its paper wrapper with a wafter of chocolate on top. Pitiful. The Star was hostess "Dawn" who gave us a tour. She deserves the 5 stars not Lon's.
