   Luca's is a consistently superior Italian restaurant in a nondescript strip mall in Somerset. It's a true gem!!

   Food here is delicious and prepared to order. Yes the meatballs are amazing made with pine nuts! Try them!

   The outside setting is very unassuming. But once you enter the restaurant, you are transported to another place and time. Every single dish we had--from appetizers to entrees to dessert--was extraordinary, and we are picky eaters! The flavors were unlike anything any of us have had before, and we would have eaten it all if we'd left room for more. It was also so nice that, even though we arrived early, we were seated ahead of time, and were able to enjoy ourselves without being rushed. It was one of my best Mother's Day dinners yet; on behalf of my kids and me, thank you so very much!

   The food was all tasty and nicely presented. The pacing of our meal was very slow. We were seated at 5:45 and didn't finish until after 8, with no dessert.

   We ALWAYS enjoy our time at Lucas. Last evening was no exception. Our server Matt was, as always... attentive, friendly, and informative about the food. As he described the specials, we put the menus down. The Pork special was outstanding. I highly recommend this neighborhood gem.

    We had a great meal. Quality ingredients & prepared to perfection. Definitely a place for exceptional Italian cuisine. The pork chops (Berkshire) & veal dishes I recommend.
