   Always good food - excellent burger. Good wine and cocktail list. Service was off this time - slow and distracted. Usually it’s excellent. Still, highly recommended. I go every time I’m in Ottawa.

   I’m a good cook so I usually don’t like the food in most restaurants. I also work in a customer service industry so my expectations of service & atmosphere are high as well. I loved luxe Bistro! Great menu choices, great atmosphere & delicious food. 5 stars for me.

   Food was the best meal we had in a while and the drinks were amazing! Highly suggest the rose negroni and the 5oz wagyu! Big shoot out to Jamie he gave perfect service! Over achieving expectations on all counts!

   Service was wonderful. Very attentive and agreeable. We were blessed to have arrived for Happy Hour, so benefitted from some very tasty food items. Even though I had made a reservation thru Open Table, I was a bit disappointed that we were seated somewhere close to the door, so that every time it opened, we got a cold breeze, and that perhaps contributed to some of our food cooling before it should have. But it was delicious, and we left for our theatre performace with full, happy tummies. Next time, I will try to remember to make a request to be seating farther into the building.

   The food was below average and the door kept opening letting in a huge cold blast of air. Anyone sitting in the front section was uncomfortable. The Caesar salad was not edible, and the steak had so much fat, it was not well trimmed prior to cooking. We were disappointed by our experience.

   The Luxe is a fine restaurant for a special evening. Excellent service and food. Pleasant and attractrive setting.

    We booked a table but on arriving at the restaurant it was closed for a private party, very disappointing as we then had to find somewhere else at short notice. Why did open table take this booking.
