   Took over 45 minutes from ordering to receiving our dinners. Too long with tickets for a show and had to rush to eat

   I had a reservation for Saturday March 8 at 12:15 pm for myself and my granddaughter. We planned at nice lunch at Marathon on Samson Street before attending the ballet at the Academy of Music. On Friday March 7 I received a text message asking me to confirm my reservation which I did. When we arrived at the restaurant, we found a small sign on the door saying it was closed. I found out from the pizza place across the street that a major problem had occurred earlier that week. Why was I sent a text on Friday asking me to confirm my reservation for Saturday when you knew that you would not be open on Saturday??????????? YOU had my phone number and could have let me know. There is no excuse for this behavior from a well run business. I have and will be sharing your disrespect for customers with many people.     I made a reservation for five on open table. Got an email confirmation. When I arrived with my guests, the restaurant was closed. With absolutely no notice. So now I had to find a table for 5 on a busy Friday night in Center City. This is no way to run a business. They had my contact information and could have let me know. I am done with this place. Never again.
