If your desired reservation time is not available online, please call the restaurant at 970-476-6628 and press option 1 between 3:30 and 9:30 p.m. MST. Walk-in and waitlist options are available in person beginning at 4:45 p.m. daily. We do not utilize the Open Table "Notify Me" feature.

Featuring Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s signature new-style Japanese cuisine, Matsuhisa Vail is located in the Solaris Plaza in the heart of Vail Village. Our dining room is open from 5pm nightly. Takeout available nightly from 5-9 pm.

Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s fusion cuisine draws influence from his classical training in Tokyo and his life abroad in Peru, Argentina, and around the world, showcasing signature dishes such as Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeño, Black Cod Miso and White fish Tiradito.

    Obviously very popular but service a little chaotic. Drinks only coming after chasing each and every one. Some dishes excellent some very mediocre.

    Matsuhisa is consistently amazing every time I go. The food is truly unreal. Highly recommend for seafood/sushi lovers.

    The miso cod, seafood udon, and combination sashimi were all excellent. Service was prompt and attentive at early seating (5:00 PM).

    Going to Matsuhisa is always a fun experience. This time my 4 guests and myself were all very disappointed with the service. Every one of us felt our waiter was trying to rush us out the door. During each course he would come by (while we were eating) and ask us for the next course. It was downright obnoxious. We will be back but next time we will not let the waiter ruin our fun.

    Excellent service. Delicious food. Omekase and sake were amazing. Excellent red wine pairing for the wagyu dish. However, very loud.
