                                                                  We had the grilled porkchop with a side of red beans and rice and the sweet potato encrusted catfish with greens and mac and cheese. We started with the McEwens salad and arugula and goat cheese salad. Everything was excellent! The restaurant has a nice rustic vibe and the service was very good. Very enjoyable.

                                                                  We love McEwen’s! Have been coming here for 20+ years. The food is amazing, service is topnotch and super friendly and ambiance is second to none. I recommend McEwen’s for date night, casual dinner or family holiday dinner like we did last night. There’s no place better in Memphis!

                                                                  Appetizers came out in the allotted time. The server assigned to us voice was going out so that made communication a bit rough but we managed to get thru it. Several items were comp’d due to a wrong order being put in so I can appreciate the management/staff on taking the initiative to make things right. I had the ribeye and wife had sea bass. Kids had a grilled cheese and Mac n cheese. Weird because the bread didn’t come out until the entrees did. Overall experience hasn’t bad but I doubt I’ll be back. Food lacked depth of flavor.

                                                                  Had a terrific experience at McEwens - the owners John and Bert are attentive and have outstanding dishes. The service is top notch and those servers will give great advice and recommendations. The restaurant is cozy where one can enjoy eating with friends ie it is not loud. Great place.

                                                                  Overall, we had a great experience and the food was excellent! My only complaint is that I wish there were more sides offered. Not everyone likes asparagus and brussel sprouts. Also it was very loud. Some tables were louder than others but then everyone was trying to talk over the noise, but it was New Years Eve and I understand that some people were more “excited” to be out drinking and eating.
