                                                                                We recently moved to the area and I have had this on my list to visit for awhile. When deciding where to do dinner out this I figured it was time to try! After the reading the reviews I was hesitant, but figured I’d give it a try anyway. I wish I would’ve listened to the reviews. My husband and I got the calamari for an appetizer. There was barely any calamari and it was mainly fried peppers, the pieces of calamari that were on the plate were very small and tough. For entrees I ordered the carbonara and my husband got the mezzo chicken. He enjoyed his although a few pieces of farfalle pasta had made their way into his spaghetti. My carbonara was not traditional, instead of egg yolk, Romano and Parmesan, with some pasta water mixed into a light sauce it was served with heavy cream sauce that tasted like an Alfredo. I added chicken to the dish as well, which was dry and unseasoned. We ordered dessert, the tiramisu and the apple pie cake served with ice cream. This was the best course of the meal. The apple pie cake was a moist and dense cake served with warm apple pie filling. The tiramisu had thick mascarpone layers and I wish the lady fingers would have been bigger, but it was overall good. I don’t think we will be back any time soon. The table behind us ordered 2 pizzas and I overheard them telling each other they didn’t like it and when we were first seated at our table the table in next to us said, “I don’t want a free meal, I just think you should know there were pieces inedible”. This was lengthy, but all to say - trust reviews.

                                                                                Alex was lovely! We loved our food. Only reason for four stars on food was wrong salad dressing that triggered an allergic reaction. Kids loved their meals.

                                                                                The food was not good our appetizer was calamari and it was cold and tasted like it was made hours before. I had the sea bass special and the fish was good but the sauce was cold and had no flavor.

                                                                                The first time we ate here, we loved the food, however, this time around, we were very disappointed. The calamari was over cooked, the Mezzo chicken was dry and barely had any sauce, and the burrata was pasty rather than creamy. We did enjoythe truffle garlic bread - on point like last time! Service and atmosphere were great - we were just not happy with the food this time.

                                                                                The atmosphere was great. Our server was great. Appetizer was spot on but when it came to the main entrée we were highly disappointed. The portion was very small and the food was very bland. For the price we were expecting a small salad or even bread before our pasta meal. We had veal Marcella and Mezzo chicken. We were so excited about this place. The food was not bad but we walked away with meh.

                                                                                My past experience at mezzo has always been a 10/10. However, tonight’s experience was not great. My wife’s salad was coated with a vinaigrette dressing that was spicy and not what she expected. The wait staff was helpful to switch out the salad but it still was not right the second time. Overall the food was average at best.

                                                                                The server was excellent! The pepperoni pizza barely had any pepperoni. This is always disappointing. The Arancini, salads, and my friend's spaghetti squash dinner were great!
