Serving "inspired cuisine" since 1987, the celebrated Michael’s On East restaurant takes fine dining to another level, offering award-winning cuisine and outstanding service, in an exceptional 1940s supper club atmosphere.     Our server must of have had too many tables. We did not receive the exceptional service that we have experienced in the past. The food as always was exceptional, worth every penny spent on the marvelous steak. The piano music was so loud that we could not have conversation at the table. I realize that it is Christmas party season so that accounts for a bit of noise in the restaurant. We will be back again after the holiday season when we know that service will be back to the exceptional standard of Micheals on East

    Overall a pleasant experience. The bottle of wine was good and the steak and crab cakes were excellent.

    Two of us had the Branzino and it was not fresg. The other twi shared a porterhouse which was good but not very good or excellent. For the cost, the dinner was disappointing.

    Very nice dining experience. Quite surprised that the server had to ‘auction the entrees’ rather than knowing who ordered the pork tenderloin and who ordered the fish. Marissa was a wonderful waitress!

    very lovely setting for celebrations bread basket wonderful as always food very good, a but salty in some dishes service excellent, as we told our friends "they do not miss anything"

    Our server was attentive and had a great personality! The food was delicious with nice size portions. All four of us decided on the Chilean Sea Bass and it did not disappoint! The bread?- - what can I say? It was wonderful!! As Arnold says “I will be back”!!!

    Michael's On East is always consistent. The food and service are excellent. A very special place to go! I have lived in Sarasota over43 years. Michael's is a true gem!
