Serving "inspired cuisine" since 1987, the celebrated Michael’s On East restaurant takes fine dining to another level, offering award-winning cuisine and outstanding service, in an exceptional 1940s supper club atmosphere. Michael's On East has been inducted into Nation's Restaurant News Fine Dining Hall of Fame and recently received their 34th consecutive AAA Four-Diamond Award. The 350+ bottle wine list has been awarded the Best of Award of Excellence by the Wine Spectator!

    We have never been disappointed at Michael’s! Great food, service and decor as always, and it was great to see Michael himself checking in with all the tables to make sure that everyone was happy!!!

    First time, service was excellent. Menu is very broad. Had the Duck Two Ways and it was perfect.

    The French cuisine was presented well. The actual taste was not that great. The salmon was dry not and didn’t appear to be freshly prepared. The iron steak was tasteless and covered with sauce. I only ate 1/4 of the serving. Presentation was nice but the taste did not match. The wait staff was excellent.

    There were two of us. Not our first time at MOE. We have never been disappointed. However tonight one meal was delivered to the table at a temperature that was okay for consumption. My meal was delivered barely lukewarm warm. This is a first for us at MOE. I think this was our third or fourth time dining there. Kelly immediately took care of the issue and was back quickly with a replayed dinner. With this exception the meal, service, ambience and overall experience was a 5.0. We will be back again and again.

    Perfect as usual!! Celebrating my 60th birthday. The Lemon ricotta cheese cake was the best cheesecake we’ve ever had!!

    Fabulous experience again. As always, Kathy was terrific as our server. My wife had the crab cakes and I had the Epicurean dinner and both were fantastic

    First class dining experience. We have been to Michael’s on East many times over the decades we have lived in Sarasota. It never disappoints in any way. We enjoyed the French Epicurean menu. The beignet appetizer and sauce were delightfully spicy. My veal was prepared to perfection. Grayson was an attentive and professional waiter.

    Steak was perfect. Disappeared off the plate. Shrimp and scallops were excellent Seabass outstanding. Perfect double date night!
