We are North Central Florida's farm-to-table, local, sustainable foods restaurant. Operated by Bert and Tara Gill, Mildred's offers a seasonally changing menu highlighting what is available locally.

Offering quality and freshness with no shortcuts, our team prepares each dish from scratch.

We serve local produce and fresh Florida seafood every day. We also feature a full bar, an award winning wine list and homemade cakes and cheesecakes.

Mildred's is proud to say we serve Gainesville's best food! We are also in the Golden Spoon Hall of Fame for our dedication to great food and service year after year.

Reservations for lunch are not necessary.

                                        Lovely, upscale atmosphere with a retro vibe. Outstanding service, attentive and friendly but unobtrusive. The food was excellent. We chose the prix fixe menu and the starters and mains were our favorites (snapper and quail). Cocktails were also excellent. We've found our new special dinner place in Gainesville!

                                        Food is always excellent at Mildred's! Interior is a bit dated but the wait staff are friendly and the service is good. We will be back!

                                        This is our third Valentine’s Day meal at Mildred’s and each time we ask ourselves why we don’t eat here more often! The fixed price meal was amazing, with great options for salads/soups, entrees and especially desserts. We enjoyed the wedge salad and the carrot salad, as well as the lamb and swordfish entrees. Each was unique and perfectly prepared. The cakes and cheesecakes are to die for! Oh and we truly loved the cocktails too!

                                        Mildred’s time and again is the most consistent, delicious and unique dining experience in Gainesville. The meals and service deserve a little remodel of the dining room yet, the room always looks great and eclectic.

                                        We had a really nice New Year's Eve dinner it was a good value and the food was delicious. The wait stop was great and you can't go wrong at Mildred's.
