Window seating is first come, first serve depending on how early you make your reservation. Parties larger than 5 are unable to be seated next to the window. We do our best to accommodate all requests but aren't always able to seat everyone that requests a window seat by the window.

Mill Pond Steakhouse is the only up-scaled steakhouse in the midlands. We have a well developed staff that is committed to your dining needs. It starts from the time you pick up the phone to make a reservation to when you are welcomed at the front door and lasts forever. When you arrive to the Mill Pond Steakhouse in Boykin, SC you take a step back in time. Mill Pond Steakhouse offers rustic elegance with southern hospitality and a one of a kind dining experience.

                                                                First time not having an amazing meal at the mill pond. Chad did everything he could to make the experience amazing. Missed twice on my mid rare steak, once mid well and once rare but all good. Been here more than a dozen times and this is the first time I’ve had something to say about the meal somewhat being sub par.

                                                                There’s really no words to describe our experience! We are still stunned!!! Everything was absolutely perfect in so many ways. I wish we had known about this restaurant before now because we will be back. We drove 98 miles one way, and the drive was well worth it. From the moment we walked in to the time we left, it was absolutely awesome! The atmosphere, service, and food was out of this world. Chad was excellent and made our dining experience perfect! In fact, all of the staff was great. The chef and kitchen staff needs to be recognized for their excellence and their awesome meals. We visit a lot of restaurants, but this is by far at the top of our list. We can’t stop talking about how great everything was and how delicious every item was from the appetizer to the dessert. Again, just amazingly awesome and outstanding!!!

                                                                Fantastic everything. A real gem and better than most places in Charleston. Got the shrimp and grits for the 2nd time because it's that good and unique.

                                                                Overall, good dining experience. The steaks were great! My steak was more well done than I would have liked - pink center versus a warm red center like I ordered. It was still juicy, so I didn't send it back. The flavor was really good though. I recommend the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer...really good. We shared a side of scalloped potatoes. Good but heavy on the garlic. Unfortunately, we shared a waitress with a large party...we felt like an afterthought. We nearly cancelled our dessert after waiting a very long time. The cheesecake was out of a box...not bad, just nothing special. For the money, I felt like the quality of steaks made it worth the cost. I'll probably return, but I won't be in a big rush.
