                                                                                            We were so happy to be able to revisit the newly reopened restaurant. It was like being back with old friends. Food and service were great as always. The only disappointment is that the new space is very crowded. Waiters and customers are all vying for the same limited space in which to move around. I think they jammed too many tables in to maximize the space and it suffers from that.

                                                                                            Restaurant just reopened and was beautiful Food was great, loved our front window table and the bar server M took care of us at our table also when it became available The Steak Frite and Jambon & Cheese Crepe, along with the french onion soup au gratin, were to die for! Bar server M was just wonderful as was maitre d. Enjoy!

                                                                                            Had lunch there and the restaurant was packed and the noise level was manageable. I loved our waiter (so sorry I don't remember his name) who was so enthusiastic and accommodating. He insisted we share an order of fries because a salad accompanied both of our entrees. He was so right to do that because they were perfect. He was also helpful in helping us decide what we wanted from the menu which has so many delicious offerings. I had the ham and cheese crepe and it was delicious. My friend had the omelet and she thoroughly enjoyed it. I would say that Mon Ami Gabi is definitely back and worth visiting.

                                                                                            Oh my gosh food delicious, service excellent and the refurbishing is beautiful. So sad place closed in Reston. Wished they could have done same as Bethesda.

                                                                                            We love this restaurant and have been customers for over 20 years. The food is delicious and their profiteroles the best in town! Some of the renovations are very nice like the new entry makes more sense and i love the booths. I am not a fan of the bar in the middle which makes the main area so much noisier. And at a minimum, I would do without the music which makes it even louder. A restaurant should be a quiet experience that encourages conversation not a struggle to hear each other. This is just an overall statement regarding restaurants since Mon Ami is hardly the only one going in this direction. Overall a beloved classic in Bethesda.
