The service was not nearly as tuned as we recalled from a previous trip. The server forgot to take our order for an extended time. I would go back but hope the service returns to the way we remembered it to be.

                                                                                                                                            I recently dined at Morimoto Maui and had an incredible experience. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the sashimi appetizer, sticky ribs, duck fried rice, soft-shell crab roll, and the surf and turf roll with wagyu, along with a few drinks. The sashimi was impressively fresh, with each piece offering its own unique take. The surf and turf roll was my personal favorite—the wagyu is cooked tableside, which adds a touch of excitement to the dish. My date especially loved the sticky ribs and duck fried rice and even mentioned they’d happily try everything on the menu, which I think perfectly sums up how great the food was! The service was good—efficient and friendly without being overbearing. The atmosphere was pleasant, not too loud, and as a fun bonus, we were able to catch some fire dancers at the luau next door. Overall, the meal was a great value for the quality and creativity of the dishes. I’d absolutely return to explore more of the menu!

We have visited in Napa before and did not have a good experience but believe it was just an off night. Glad we came for a second chance in Maui.
