Taking inspiration from the night markets of Asia and his Korean-American childhood, Chef Edward Kim pairs eastern cooking techniques with Chicago ingredients to create umami-laden flavors, juxtaposing tastes and textures for a wildly exciting menu.                                           Food was an absolute banger. My third time here and finally got the chance to try the burger, it didn’t disappoint! Service is also the best. Shout out to Miguel for being super attentive.

                                          Great date night spot! We really enjoyed the lively atmosphere, the service was prompt but not overbearing, food came out super quick but was spaced out enough to give us time to finish the previous dish. Drinks were pretty good. I would highly recommend the short rib and fire chicken. We will definitely back as we hop to try both cabbage options, the steak kalbi, and the famous Mott St. burger.

                                          We’ve been wanting to visit this restaurant for 5+ years, and finally, we had the chance to make it happen. We ordered a variety of dishes, including mushrooms, brussels sprout, the infamous burger, and pork belly. The burger was good, but I must say, the pork belly stole the show. My wife, who was still hungry, opted for the cauliflower, which she absolutely loved. To wash it all down, we highly recommend the Seoul Stock Exchange and the Old Fashioned. Our entire experience lasted about an hour, and the sides were served before the entrees. If you’re seeking a slow and romantic dinner, this might not be the best choice for you.

                                          The burger was phenomenal. Just make sure you order it before 7 if you aren’t sitting at the bar. WE had some delicious drinks and the service was great and the food came fast.

                                          Mott street is my favorite restaurant in Chicago. I make my flights via Chicago just to eat there. I have been dining here since they had Kim chi empanadas. Every time I eat here it’s a learning experience New dishes I never would have thought of. This time no different (though the mussel jigae was very good but I would have toasted the bacon and maybe used a different richer broth base.) the kimchi noodles are extraordinary I licked the bowl. The jackfruit bulgogi was brilliant and paired great with my garlic fried rice. Would recommend this place to anyone in Chicago. The waitstaff is the best I have ever experienced. They are so kind and work so hard.
