Supremely Asian American. Eastern cooking technique.

Taking inspiration from the night markets of Asia and his Korean-American childhood, Chef Edward Kim pairs eastern cooking techniques with Chicago ingredients to create umami-laden flavors, juxtaposing tastes and textures for a wildly exciting menu. A festive and lively dining scene is anchored by a well-lauded bar program and an open pantry, inviting our guests further into the kitchen experience.                                           Our first time finally coming here and it was very good. Nice selection on the menu. We of course had to have the burger, but next time would do it without the egg. The kimchi rice could’ve had a little bit more flavor, but we still enjoyed it. Loved the mocktails.

                                          Brunch at Mott St did not disappoint! Favorites were the kimchi fried rice and the Kalbi steak & eggs, plus the Vietnamese coffee! Nice to have gluten free options too. Never had a bad meal here!

                                          We enjoyed the crispy chili cauliflower, Brussel sprouts, pork lettuce wraps, and Mott st hamburgers. This has become a favorite in the bucktown/wicker park neighborhood

                                          A delicious meal with easy modifications made for a celiacs allergy! They have menus with plenty of delicious choices for all allergies! Drink program is amazing and the food was very good. I only wish i was with a bigger group so we could have ordered and tried more, but 4 plates were plenty for the 2 of us!
