As the name suggests, Moules a go-go is famous for its mussels, fresh from the shores of Anglesey, served in a variety of ways from simple Moules Marinieres to Korean. The vast selection of seafood dishes ranging from traditional fish and chips to scrumptious Sea Bass is impressive, though equally appealing are the locally sourced juicy steaks . After 17 successful years in business amongst tough competition, Moules a go-go is still going strong, boasting superb food and a great atmosphere in contemporary yet comfortable surroundings. The head chef and manager have been there since the restaurant’s inception; such longevity is a rare blessing in the tempestuous world of the steaming kitchen, but this dedication shows in the consistency and quality of the food and service. We had the most beautiful time at this great restaurant. The staff were attentive and friendly, the food was excellent, I cannot fault it. This place is high on our list of best in Chester!

Everything is excellent at this restaurant apart from the booking system. We came on 2 night’s consecutively and each time the online booking system caused a problem. Luckily the staff are very obliging.

Great evening with family in Moules . The service was friendly and food arrived in good time. We have not been for some time and were impressed with The standard..Recommend a table upstairs If You want a quieter meal but there was a good atmosphere on both floors. .

Catered for our table of 15 in the afternoon. Set menu was amazing value and absolutely delicious. Comments were the best steak and peppercorn sauce ever. The mussels and sea bass also fab could not fault thank you.
