Myron's Prime Steak House is located in the old Palace Movie Theatre in historic downtown New Braunfels. We are open nightly, giving top billing to Chicago prime beef, the top 2% of all prime beef in the United States. A full bar as well as an extensive wine list featuring wines by the glass and by the bottle are available. Owner Bill Been, known to most for his 33 years of restaurant experience in San Antonio, has created a casual but elegant dining experience and invites you to come to Myron's, and enjoy!

Shrimp Myron was hot, and delicious. The bread was hot and reminded my wife of being in France. The Filet was cooked perfectly, and you didn't need a knife to cut it because it was so tender. The scalloped potatoes were so tender, you could have mistaken them for mashed potatoes. Service was on point, and always attentive. This is the gem of New Braunfels.

Our server, Steven, was terrific. I ordered the Surf and Turf (6 oz filet and Lobster tail) and my wife ordered the mixed grill which comes with a 4 oz filet. When the food arrived, it appeared that the 2 steaks had been mixed up as the one on my wife's plate was obviously much larger. The 4 oz filet was also overcooked. My lobster tail also seemed to be overcooked. The baked potato was really good, and my wife enjoyed her plate.

The escargot appetizer was very good. The filet mignon came with a nice salad and the Thousand Island Dressing was delicious as was the steak. For a side we ordered the jalepeno mac and cheese: excellent. Candy was our server and she was just terrific!

Best lobster tail on the planet and at 73 I've been eating them a long time ...lol Everything else was great too, outstanding creamed spinach, excellent baked potato, wife's filet. If you love lobster tails, this is the only place to go, pretty reasonable too for a 12+ oz Austrailian tail (best money can buy) for around $70 including a salad (with delicious homemade blue cheese dressing) Drinks are pricey as well as some extras, but if you stick to entrees and a couple sides can get out of there for $150-$200 depending on what you get, and worth every penny.
