Napa Valley Bistro was opened in 2013 by chefs Bernardo Ayala and Ernesto Martinez, (also co-owner of Market in St. Helena). Their friendship and working relationship, which has lasted over 20 years was so successful, they decided to pool their resources and stake a claim in downtown Napa's expanding culinary scene. Their aim was to create their own version of classic world cuisine in a comfortable space where family and community could gather for any occasion. The twist is evident in the menus, which sample fare from around the globe. Guests can choose from traditionally prepared Mexican Empanadas or timeless American favorites like the Lamb Burger and St. Louis Ribs. Other options include Vegetarian Spring Rolls, Chinese Chicken Salad and Seasonal Risotto. Our Wine & Beer List includes local wines leaning toward small producers & craft brews.

It was an Easter Brunch!. Eggs Benedict in many styles dominated the menu. That was okay; but not the best variety. Server was outstanding, charming, and efficient. Very pleasant Easter morning!

The food was subpar, I wouldn’t go back. The risotto was watery and the vegetable salad seemed like it came out of a mix bag with not much on it. There are better places in the area.

Food and service are always great! Makes it an easy decision to the where should we eat question. Menu is extensive, plenty to try!

Found this place while in Napa for our 30 yr anniversar, the ambiance and hospitality was 5 stars!!!⭐️ was a great find downtown and we will be back!!!
