The Bluebell is a smart, modern place to relax offering fuss-free food and drinks that retain the reputation for quality we’ve hopefully earned at Stones. Dogs are welcome in our outdoor space and bar area. No dogs will be allowed in the restaurant-style extension. Parking Please note we have a car park on-site however it can get very busy and is limited. Please respect the neighbours when parking on-street by not blocking their driveways. Please do not park opposite other cars therefore making the road too narrow to pass. Come and join us at this beautiful old pub very soon. Please note we are closed on Sunday evenings and all day on Mondays.

Exciting times here at The Dovecote, we are having a refurbishment!This affects reservations made between 17th Feb and 7th March, Opening hours will remain the same, however we will be moving the restaurant into our Granary Loft function suite while we carry out the works. Opening in 2017 following the success of our Uttoxeter store, the progression to Derby seemed natural for BEAR, as our two founders spent a lot of time in the city as teens, so they have loads of fun memories attached to the place.

    We enjoyed our visit,but it was a very cold day outside and as we were sat opposite the entrance we felt cold after a while,we thoroughly enjoyed the food but the chorizo and hash browns were difficult to get out of a high sided bowl with a knife and fork. Service was attentive and relaxed. We will definitely return here again

    From walking in to leaving the whole afternoon was beautiful. We’ve been meaning to come here for a few years after hearing many good things and we weren’t disappointed, the staff were so friendly and attentive, and the quality of the food was stunning. I think we’ll be coming here for our special occasions more often!

    Although it was very busy with Christmas parties, we were served quickly with lovely food, by lovely staff. However, they did get our order wrong, but quickly rectified it. We throughly enjoyed our visit, until it was time to use the loo! They are in an awful state and needs a complete makeover!
