We are a casual fine dining restaurant serving California Cuisine in the form of a weekly 4 to 5 course tasting menu that emphasizes fresh, local, organic product. We boast a wine list with over 3,000 selections and have held a Wine Spectator Grand Award every year since 1998. Open Thursday through Sunday from 5:30pm-8:00pm.     We went for the Thanksgiving Buffet. It was delicious! Exceeded our expectations and I think it was even better than prior years that we've gone. The service was excellent. Very attentive but not in the way. We all commented on that, particularly my 93 year old father in law.

    Leo was our waiter. Phenomenal service knew and explained all dishes and specials. Attentive but not overbearing. Food was delicious including dessert and expresso. Will definently return the next time we are in the area.

    We had the soup du jour which was sweet potatoes soup & pork chop with bourbon sauce. Both were delicious! Will be back!

    Moonstone is our favorite restaurant in Humboldt County. We visit this area quite often and we make sure always to eat here. The food has never disappointed us. The service is alway excellent and the servers are always friendly. We always look for ward to our visit to Moonstone Grill.
