Cunningham’s of Kilkeel is a high-class butchers & bistro at the foot of the Mourne Mountains in County Down. Cunningham’s is family-run and award-winning and it serves some of the best Irish and British cuisine we know of in the area. Whether for brunch, lunch or dinner, each dish at Cunningham’s Butchers & Bistro is hearty yet refined and makes use of Cunningham’s own produce, from meats and baked goods to cheeses from the deli and even homemade gelato. On Newcastle Street, Cunningham’s is consistently recognised as one of the finest butchers in this part of Northern Ireland, hence reservations are always a good idea if you want to be sure of a table.

Great food, great service & lovely atmosphere. Booked for a family of 5 people for my son's 16th birthday & we all really enjoyed it.

Great atmosphere & music. Stunning decor. Overall good vibes. Staff were lovely. Amazing food. I was so impressed. Best Mexican food I’ve ever tried. Very small plates though. Patatas bravas was so tiny & on instagram they had a huge bowl so was disappointed in that. The food was served one at a time rather than all together which is really annoying for one person to have food & the other doesn’t.

This venue was recommended to us and really lived up to its reputation. Friendly efficient staff, attentive but not intrusive, knew the menu well to explain dishes. We had phoned ahead to let them know we were running late, but it was no problem with them. We had another event after and had no delays between courses and were out on time. Food was outstanding, as was the prosecco! Will hopefully get back again and would highly recommend. Thank you.
