Our casual restaurant and bar focuses on authentic dishes from our favourite regions of Spain, Italy and Portugal. We hunt out only the finest quality ingredients and serve them in the same way the locals would in the regions they originate. We believe in letting the quality of the ingredients shine through by trying to keep things as uncomplicated as possible. We are a dog friendly restaurant in our garden and downstairs bar area. Please ensure you mention if you are bringing a dog as we will ensure the correct area is allocated. Thank you for your understanding.We are now open on Mondays, serving our homemade stone baked pizza during lunch and in the evening.Full menu available Tuesday to Sunday during lunch and in the evening.Our suppliers are amongst the very best in the UK, importing regional delicacies used by the finest restaurants in the UK. Our fish, seafood, fruit and vegetables are all delivered fresh each day from local suppliers.

Using only freshly sourced Lancashire ingredients, including fresh seasonal vegetables, juicy steaks, fresh fish along with deliciously prepared vegetarian options, we have a menu to suit all tastes. Being right on the North Lancashire and South Cumbria border, the Longlands Inn is surrounded by farmers offering some great local specialties. Fell-bred and salt-marsh lamb, fabulous cheeses, freshly-caught fish, are then all expertly prepared and cooked by our brilliant resident chef Mark Swanton.The hotel has recently gone through a complete refurbishment of the downstairs areas and we have created cosy drinking areas, a mixtures of high and low seating and a private dining area. The open pass from the kitchen allows guests to see our kitchen in operation and all this leads to creating a lively buzz and great atmosphere.

The RestaurantOur main restaurant is modern with a lantern light ceiling which allows in plenty of natural light to flood in. A great piece of real architectural design. The restaurant boast some wonderful bespoke ironwork along with a vintage industrial feel . This restaurant offers a modern ambiance an ideal place to catch up with family and friends and enjoy our mouthwatering local dishes. The InnThe Inn is full of old world charm with little hidden nucks for dining. This restaurant is full of character and is used at lunch times primarily, but in the evenings, it offers a cosy ambiance lit by candle light ideal for a more casual approach to dining.The Inn also offers an afternoon tea which is simply divine. Served between 2pm-5pm by prior bookings only.The Bar and Snug is a relaxed and super cosy space sticking with the old charm of the Inn which this part of the building offers. It has an impressive wood burning stove and is dog friendly.

We ate in the bar area as we were with our dog & loved the new tables & chairs! The staff are so friendly & welcoming. The food was delicious.

Warm welcome. Main meals 1 very good the other 3 average but ok for value as half price. Puddings expensive for size and quality.

Lovely evening ,excellent table service. Disappointed no appropriate sauces for the meals and would have been better to have the curry served with poppadoms/naan bread. All food was tasty and gd portions.
