It all began with a love story and a dream. Linwood, a chef, and Ellen, a reporter, met 36 years ago in a restaurant of course! They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years. Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation. Our service is warm and attentive. We have developed a reputation for consistency an attention to detail. These qualities are key to our catering business as well. Our team has worked hard to connect to our community, and we value our customers. These values have been central to Ellen and Linwood’s vision, and we hope are felt by our customers each day.

WE ARE FAMOUS FOR OUR WET AND DRY-AGED STEAKS THAT ARE HAND-CUT BY OUR IN HOUSE PROFESSIONAL BUTCHERS.Our steaks are wet aged on average 45 to 70 days, cut and then dry-aged for another 5 to 7 days. This extensive aging process is what separates us from our competition. We have been described as serving a “Ruth’s Chris” steak at an “Outback” price. In addition to our signature steaks, we serve baby back ribs, fresh salads, chicken, seafood, fajitas, and we even have two pasta dishes. Prices range on entrees from $9.99 to $29.00 for our 22 oz. T-bone steak. We make our dishes from scratch using the best ingredients.     Sisterly Love Week & dining with our favorite Delta Dear. My LS and I had the pleasure of sharing the company of and meal with our sweet Sorors. We feasted on the chicken & rice soup, French onion soup, Greek salad, Caesar salad w/grilled shrimp, and for dessert, we all had the delectable warm apple tart drizzled with caramel and topped with vanilla ice cream! Our server was attentive, pleasant, and knowledgeable. A memorable experience and we're looking forward to going back REAL soon.

    Food was great, service good, lighting was not the great in some spots of the restaurant. Sitting by the windows at night time they had all the lights off inside so it was harder to see the menu and your food. Other than the lighting/ambience leaving something to be desired, the place is great and food is some of the best in the area!

    The food and drinks were amazing 10/10❤️ we celebrated my big brothers 50th birthday and they provided a free dessert as well. Can’t wait to go back.
