Minutes away from the beautiful beaches of the Eastern Shore and other historical towns, with fine restaurants locally, you will absolutely love your stay at Princess Anne Book Lovers Inn. This beautiful Victorian home with British heritage, was built in 1885 and yet with modern comfort, has three lovely bedrooms to choose from. Each room is named after an author, and so beautifully decorated, you'll immediately feel at home. Our peaceful reading parlor has many books to enjoy and with our British hospitality we offer an English Breakfast or healthy options of fruit, yogurt, marmalade or jam on toast.

Texas Roadhouse in Fruitland, Maryland may be one of the only places you can order farm-raised Catfish from right here in the United States. This is breaded with Southern cornmeal, deep-fried and plated with Creole mustard on the side. If that isn't enough, Texas Roadhouse gives you two sides with your order, as well. If catfish isn't your thing, Texas Roadhouse has a number of other great menu items, like the beef tips, pulled pork dinner, grilled pork chops and country fried sirloin. People also really like the bacon cheeseburger here. Not only is it huge (1/2 pound of ground chuck), but it also comes with a side of steak fries.

Peaky's Restaurant & Pub is a neighborhood spot that offers traditional American cuisine in a casual atmosphere. The inside of the restaurant is designed to reflect the relaxed and low-key feel of a typical local pub. The decor is a made up of sports paraphernalia and the tables are made of dark stained wood. Peaky's menu features all the comfort food diners would expect: burgers, steaks, seafood and pizza. Appetizers include quesadillas, chicken tenders, stuffed mushrooms, potato skins, mozzarella sticks, loaded crab dip and a house special jerk chicken with mustard dip. Peaky's also serves several different types of hot and cold sandwiches including a crab cake sandwich, classic BLT and the Peaky's Piggy with grilled ham, melted Swiss and cheddar cheese on a kaiser roll.

    Our family had a wonderful, leisurely dinner. The drinks and food were delicious. The seafood was fresh. We were pleasantly surprised to see stone crabs on the menu — one of our favorites. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Perfect Saturday night dinner.

    We were seated immediately. They were very busy with a function going on, but the whole evening went very smoothly The food was delicious. I had had a scallops for an appetizer. For dinner I had swordfish and it came with a really good Butterbean side dish and asparagus. my husband had to crabcakes and I tried them and they were delicious The hand cut fries were also very nice. For dessert we normally share, but we couldn't decide they all sounded so good. we had the cherry cheesecake and the Smith Island banana walnuts. Our server was really perfect and I can't wait to go back!!!

    Such a beautiful Ruth Chris! We’ve eaten at 2 others previously & this is by far our favorite. Incredibly lovely & rich in horse country history. Our server Paul was fantastic with personality & knowledge of the restaurant. What can you say tabout the food at RC. Never disappoints. My brother & sister in laws are planning to visit after our high praise & they live about four hours away. I will say this this is the best time to be here in the off season. A great find!

    Fantastic experience. Awesome wine list and my steak was cooked perfect. I highly recommend the Black ‘n Blue NY strip.
