The Black Horse in the village of Fulmer is nestled between Gerrards Cross and Pinewood Studios. The 17th Century craftsman’s cottage has gradually been extended to form a charming country pub full of nooks and crannies. Under new ownership, The Black Horse has recently undergone extensive refurbishment both inside and out, creating one of the nicest pub environments in the area.Food is our passion and we will never compromise on quality. We are proud of our seasonally changing menus, simple, yet exciting using the finest ingredients and locally sourced produce. Certain dishes have become specialities such as our sticky ribs and homemade 8oz burgers. Our beef has been aged for a minimum of 35 days and the roast beef served on Sundays is unrivalled.     We all really enjoyed our visit. We received a warm welcome as soon as we stepped inside. Our server was helpful and amusing who really knew the menu. The food was delicious and for the quality of the dishes we all thought it was fairly priced. We all agreed that we look forward to returning.

    We went there for my wife’s birthday. It was very quiet- we were the only ones in the restaurant. The food was tasty. I recommend the ‘seafood spaghetti. As a surprise they even brought out a small dessert with a candle for us to share. Our first visit but probably not our last.

    Warm welcome. Lovely service. Excellent reception for our dog. The owner came to say hi. Food was mediocre but definitely will go there again. Thank you Crown and Treaty for the evening of fun!

    Went in to have some food and watch the American Football. Was a really good atmosphere, and wasn’t what I was expecting. Recently moved to the Uxbridge area so this is defo a great pub for me to go to from now on. Has lots of TVs so great for anyone wanting to watch the sport!
