With an emphasis on local excellence and seasonality, Sika offers the best of Irish contemporary cooking against a spectacular backdrop of Wicklow's hills and mountains. From the rich bounty of our seas and our fields, from the skilled hands of artisan producers and craft suppliers, Ireland's fresh food credentials are world renowned. Such superb raw materials inspire the best of our chefs. So at Sika you'll find well-loved classic dishes deliciously prepared and executed with a distinctively modern twist.
The space is as appetising as the menu. Situated on the third floor of the Hotel, Sika's dramatic floor-to-ceiling glass windows take full advantage of the breath-taking views of the Sugar Loaf Mountain.
There is no better place to soak up the sunshine and enjoy the views of the Sugar Loaf Mountain as the weather gets warmer, as Sika Terrace is open for all day dining during the summer months.
Please note that the restaurant is an adult-only area from 8:00pm nightly.

Located on the lobby level of Powerscourt Hotel Resort & Spa, the Sugar Loaf Lounge is perfect for meeting, greeting and watching the world go by. Serving traditional Afternoon Tea daily and cocktails each evening, the Lounge is a haven of hospitality. Furnished and appointed in a style of gracious Georgian living, there's a traditional warmth to the Sugar Loaf Lounge our guests often comment on. Of course, the spectacular scenery outside, framed by the vast curved windows offers a breath-taking counterpoint to the intimate welcome within. Here there's always something to talk about.

Our meal was very tasty and well prepared. The steak tartare was outstanding but the portion quite small for the 18 Euros. My hot goat cheese salad was very good, however the goat cheese was not hot, in fact it was cold. The wine selection was wonderful and appropriately priced. The truffle fries were outstanding and the burrata salad was excellent.
