Ristoranti a Regent's Park

Visiting London and we knew we had to come back here (visited for the first time back in 2022). It took forever for a true, authentic Mexican restaurant to appear in London, but this is it! (We’re from Tucson, Arizona. Trust us, we know.) Everything we’ve had here tastes just as good as if we had it at home. This time we started with a couple of margaritas and some nachos, and then had the shared taco platter as the main course. Delicious! All of the meats are prepared authentically with the right seasonings and spices. So nice to get a small taste of home while abroad! Beyond the food, the decor and ambience is great, it’s very lively, though not so loud that you can’t have a conversation, and the place is always packed with people enjoying their meals. We highly recommend Mestizo - but make sure you make a reservation!

Overall it was a good experience. The hot food was tasty - the fried chicken was really crispy! However, we had to order our rice and LA galbi with the servers but they didn’t come until the last 30mins of our booking only because we chased them. By that time we were quite full and couldn’t finish the rice. The bulgogi was empty for majority of our booking and wasn’t refilled until the last 30mins. The grill was also on very low heat with parchment paper which meant that the meat wasn’t cooked as nice. However the drinks were refillable and the service from the owner was really good. She was really attentive and got our food out as soon as we asked. There was lettuce as well which was a nice surprise. Overall I would consider going again but try to book at an earlier time so all the food is available.

Absolutely brilliant. I was initially sceptical about the location. But once you get out front right the way you’re like, yes this is my cup of tea lol. The atmosphere they’ve created is truly brilliant. I went on a Saturday night and it was the perfect level of people, not over crowded. The drinks presentations and food is truly skilled. Definitely will be returning

Dining at Drummond Villa never disappoints: the Staff serve beautifully cooked, delicious food, and are attentive to a tee. First visit with my younger daughter, rather than old school chum, but it won’t be our last, I’m sure!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

We ate here for an early Saturday dinner. Wonderful service and food. Good value for London. So glad we made this choice.
