Welcome and thank you for choosing The Melting Pot of Wilmington. We offer a very unique and interactive dining experience, with a heavy focus on personal service. Our Wait staff has been hand picked and extensively trained to have the ability to provide you, our guest, with nothing less than a "Perfect Night Out." Every visit will be hand tailored to fit your wants and needs during your fondue experience. We are a four-course full service restaurant. We offer a stunning variety of creamy, perfectly balanced cheeses that our servers hand craft table side for your dining pleasure. We have a selection of cold, crisp and fresh salads, paired with house made dressings. Our entrées are as beautiful as they are delicious. We offer a wide range of premium meats and seafoods with a variety of sophisticated marinades and sauces for dipping.

Open Wed-Mon, closed Tues. Reservations recommended; table times limited to 2 hours max. Please call the restaurant directly for reservations of parties over 4 guests. Online orders can be placed from our website; limited daily availability. There is a parking deck one block away on Market Street, between Front Street and Second Street. There is also paid street parking (free after 6:30pm and all day Sundays).

Thierry & Patricia Moity previously owned Patou Bistro in Charlotte, NC & Cafe de Bruxelles in NYC. Chef Thierry has been cooking since age 13 in some of the finest restaurants in Europe & USA. His cuisine is influenced by many traditions; Patricia comes from the northern part of France near the Belgium border, while Thierry's origins are deeply rooted in the central provinces of the country. According to Chef Thierry, “I want everyone to feel welcome in my restaurant. We are working against the stereotype that French food must be intimidating and expensive.”

We are open for carry out and for dine-in guests. The balcony tables are available first come first serve upon reservation. If one is not available upon arrival, guests are welcome to wait at the bar or in the lounge until one becomes available. We are open for Dinner MON-SUN 4:30 pm till 10 pm and for Brunch on SUN 11:00-2:00 pm.

We went to Caprice Bistro to celebrate my husband’s birthday and the experience was perfection. Upon entering, he was wished a happy birthday which made him feel so special. We were seated at a table with a beautiful view of the lights outside. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. I can’t say enough good things about our meal. We got the trout and the Waterzooi. Both were fantastic! The star of the show was the dessert….the profiteroles were the best I’ve ever had. A memorable night and we definitely will go back.

Seabird in Wilmington, NC, offers a memorable dining experience with expertly prepared dishes. The swordfish schnitzel was perfectly cooked, while the yellowfin tuna bolognese and fried oysters romaine Caesar impressed with fresh, vibrant flavors. The oysters were exceptional, fresh and briny, making them a highlight of the meal. Though the meal was fantastic, I had hoped for a complimentary dessert to celebrate my wife’s birthday, as I marked it when making the reservation. Overall, Seabird is a top choice for an unforgettable meal.

Menu offers the opportunity to enjoy a range of well prepared and presented dishes. Particularly enjoyed the Salumi e Formaggi appetizer which was plenty to share with the four of us. Service is outstanding - friendly, informative and allowed plenty of time to enjoy each course.

Excellent experience, just some minor issues such as the waiter not taking the menus once we ordered and not putting our wine in a cooler. Other than this, everything was great.
