Ristoranti a Barnoldswick

Walked up the hill in the snow today for a bit of lunch. Had the mackerel pate and baked goats cheese with honey and pistachio, absolutely delicious with a slice or two of sourdough. Hubby then had the sausage stew, warm and hearty, perfect for a snow day. To finish I had a divine cocktail made by Molly, the Dark Chocolate and Negroni fizz. The Old Post Office never disappoints, the staff were warm and welcoming as always, it is my favourite local place to visit, if you haven’t been yet give it a go, it tastes as good as it looks ❤️

Lovely food as usual. We had quite a long wait for the main meal but it was certainly worth the wait when it arrived! The room was quite cool but outside it was about -3 so I’m not surprised. The heaters were on and they were really trying to warm the place up. Overall a great experience.

Absolutely amazing food! We decided to treat ourselves and had the chateaubriand, it was gorgeous! Will definitely be back!

Our experience at the Black Bull was excellent from arrival we received very good service. Food was outstanding my husband had the steak he said it was excellent. I had the braised lamb but to my taste it was a bit salty.

This was a seven course set Christmas Eve menu, each course was served in a timely manner, and every one was exceptional. Each course had been thoughtfully crafted by the head chef who obviously knows his stuff, along side his hardworking staff, who were all very pleasant and attentive The whole place is professionally run to a high standard and provides an excellent dining experience. We look forward to a return visit in the near future, in the meantime Merry Christmas and all the very best for 2025
